How we started

Kyte was Started Jan 1 2000, when a young family was between jobs.

Kyte actually stands for Kyla and Ted. Ted took the delivery idea but added a few twists. He thought why leave business trips sit there allo day, why not do them right away. Now this has become a whole new standaer in the Comox Valley for doing deliveries. Also why limit deliveries to just businesses why not do deliveries for everyone, for pretty much anything. The business and the public community aswered. Kyte now has a fleet of over 20 drivers to keep up with the demand, as well as full time office staff to answer the incoming calls.

we deliver almost anythin that fits in a car. No weight charges within reasonable weight. We have a goal to do your pick ups within 15 min and delkiver within a hour. Our rates are low cause we use fuel effecient cars. We also offer high volume and chamber discounts. We can also do scheduled pickup and deliveries if needed. Our fleet of 20 drivers only do deliveries. We don't pass off deliveries to other companies. This means the driver picking up your delivery is the driver delivering it. We have warmer bags and selected drivers carry debit machines, so your business doesn't need to have them.

Basically you crave it, we deliver it. We go out of our way to serve our customers. This means we will go wherever you request your items from at no extra charge, within city limits. For commonly ordered items we automatically go where we know it is cheapest for our customers. We also now offer debit at the door, for a small fee. For debit deliveries you must let dispatch know how you are paying, cause only selected drivers carry machines.We have a fleet of over 20 drivers that only do deliveries. This means all our drivers specialize in delivering.

We have same day service to and from Campbell River. 2ft X 2ft limit for these runs please. We believe our rates are the lowest in town for these runs. We do not pass our deliveries off to other companies. we also off twice a week service to Nanaimo and once a week to Port Alberni.

Our Hot Shot service is great for when it just has to go now. We deliver pretty much anywhere we can drive. Pick ups normally don within 30 min.
